Gerodete Regenwaldgebiete k\u00f6nnen kaum in ihren Grundzustand zur\u00fcckversetzt werden. Der aufgeforstete Regenwald wird daher als Sekund\u00e4rwald bezeichnet. Diese sekund\u00e4ren Regenw\u00e4lder sind jedoch unerl\u00e4sslich, um die verbleibenden Gebiete der Prim\u00e4rw\u00e4lder zu sch\u00fctzen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Methode der Wiederaufforstung besteht darin, die Vielfalt und Strukturschichten der ehemaligen und angrenzenden nat\u00fcrlichen Regenw\u00e4lder so naturnah wie m\u00f6glich wiederherzustellen. Diese Sekund\u00e4rw\u00e4lder dienen dann als Pufferzone. Unter anderem k\u00f6nnen ihre klimatisch \u00e4hnlichen Bedingungen eine weitere Verschlechterung der Schutzgebiete weitgehend verhindern sowie deren Artenvielfalt erhalten und sogar erh\u00f6hen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dar\u00fcber hinaus tragen Sekund\u00e4rw\u00e4lder zur Kompensation von Kohlendioxid bei, dienen somit dem Klimaschutz und sind wichtig f\u00fcr die Stabilisierung des Wasserhaushalts der Region.
